The day started with a climb down to the river and then up out of the canyon to a great vista at Tadapani. Our porter, Dipak, was up and ready to go as usual. He always beat us to our daily destination with plenty of time to spare. Since it was his first experience on a trek, our guide had to make sure he knew that all treks didn't go this slowly.
