We headed to Nagarkot, for the best place to view the Himalaya from the comfort of your hotel balcony and to help acclimatize for the trek (2175m). We saw the Langtang Range from our room - and a beautiful view of the full moon rising over the mountains. We survived a taxi ride on a very windy road with lots of blind curves - you sound your horn before curves so oncoming traffic knows you're coming.
